King Koil Mattress – Is it Any Good?
[ad_1]
I’ve read some retailers call King Koil mattresses an off-brand. I really take exception to this. The company may not be as big or as well known as companies like Simmons, Serta and Sealy, but it does make very good quality mattresses at a price that most folks can afford. Here’s a quick overview of what’s on offer and why I think it’s one of the best mattress manufacturers currently on the market.
First, don’t let anyone tell you that King Koil is an off-brand mattress. The company has been making mattresses since 1989 – longer than most of its competitors – and now offers a wide range of mattress types and collections. The company also uses the latest technology, fabric and manufacturing techniques that are second-to-none.
Sure, other manufacturers may sell more, but few others have been endorsed by the prestigious Chiropractor group, the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research.
Currently, the company makes three main collections of innerspring mattresses; the King Koil Spine Support, Perfect Contour, and the Contour Extraordinaire. The Spine Support uses high-grade steel coils in a three-zone Bonnell innerspring system. The Perfect Contour has a five zone system. The zone system means that coils are grouped closer together where they’re needed – other manufacturers offer this type of system (Kingsdown is one) but they’re more expensive.
The King Koil Contour Extraordinaire is the best innerspring mattress the company has to offer. It features a 650 coil, foam encased, zoned sleep system. The fabrics, foam and ticking are first-rate.
All Perfect Contour lines are available in both one- and two-sided versions – the one sided means you never have to flip the mattress.
While all the above offer exceptional quality at very keen prices, I think that the best mattress from King Koil is the Natural Elegance collection. It’s a 100% Talalay latex mattress made from both natural (for luxurious comfort) and synthetic latex (for durability) and it’s made in the United States. Talalay is considered the best latex on the market. Only quality manufacturers like Jamison offer Talalay however, none can match King Koil on price.
The Natural Elegance is the best mattress from this company in terms of quality and price. If you are looking for latex then you should definitely consider King Koil – try comparing it to the Jamison Talalay latex mattress.
Don’t let anyone tell you that King Koil is an off-brand or second-rate mattress. It’s a very well-made mattress at a fraction of the price of most comparable mattresses from larger, more well-known manufacturers.
